Data we collect
We collect the account information provided by your identity provider (such as your name and email), the books and manuscript content you create, and per-device AI settings. API keys you provide are stored encrypted and used only to call the AI providers you have chosen.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide and improve the writing and AI assistance features — storing your manuscripts, indexing them for contextual search, and routing requests to the AI provider you selected. We do not sell your personal data.
AI processing
When you use the AI assistant, the relevant portions of your manuscript are sent to the language and embedding models you configured. If you use your own provider and API key, your text is processed under that provider's terms.
Your rights
You can access, export and delete your books at any time from the application. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have additional rights over your personal data; contact us to exercise them.
